New name for the art classes

Thank you so much to everyone who has sent their good wishes about the relocation of the art classes. Thank you too to those who have come up with some great names for the new website, you are such a creative lot!

• if you're into 'colour' names how about combining the first two letters of Jane and Denman and calling it something like Jade Art, or Rainbow something or SkyBluePink or Artescape or Artists Unlimited or Artventures (quite like that last one!) from Carol

• Azure Art from Isabel

• JD's or JD Art from Ley

• Denman Art Classes, or Seasiders Art Classes, Art for All, ArtScape, by Christine

• As to a name, I think that 'Worthing' should be included, so that anyone using the Net will immediately know where it is. People often search by locations. My outside the box contribution is : "Worthing Art Classes A-Y " (from Aquamarine to Yellow, we cover a lot, but not everything). Is there the germ of a useful idea here? by Bob

Brooks Studios Travelling Sketchbook

The sketchbook has now been to France, Thailand, Egypt and is awaiting its next trip! Let me know if you want to take it.

Inspired by the 1000 sketchbooks idea which was launched in the US, see the link for this, there is now a travelling sketchbook. The idea is to pass the Brooks Studios sketchbook on to people who are off on a trip. The maiden voyage will started with France and Joan kindly whisked it away to start it all off.

Finished painting commission!

Some of you will know that I have been working on a painting commission for clients in Worthing. The painting, in oils, was inspired by a lovely cafe which serves great coffee in china cups on Worthing beach. Now it is on to the next exhibition.... Jane Denman
